European Conference 2025The SBCA 2025 European Conference was held on November 27-28, 2025, in Athens, Greece at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).The conference brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across Europe and beyond, featuring more than 70 presentations and rich academic exchange on the role of benefit–cost analysis in evidence-based public policy. Hosted by AUEB and its Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability (ReSEES), under the scientific leadership of Professor Phoebe Koundouri, the event addressed key themes including climate neutrality, energy transitions, social policy, open science, digital governance and urban development, and proved to be a successful and intellectually productive meeting for the SBCA community.The Conference Report (available here) provides an overview of the program, keynote lectures, parallel sessions and workshops, together with selected photos from the event. |
